Martha Stewart Craft Boxes

Cute Stuff Alert!

(Sorry, I couldn’t think of anything better to open with right now. Kids are putting stickers on me while I type)

Martha Stewart has a new line of crafty food packaging items. A friend told me about these last week and upon hearing the news, I ran to Michael’s craft store to check things. I expected the line of goodie boxes to be super expensive, but they were quite reasonably priced. They come in packs of 6 and cost $12.99. So while that’s not quite as cheap as using found items (which is my favorite way to craft), the price is not outrageous and the end result will impress everyone. My favorite item in the line is the cookie tower box, which looks like this. There are lots of others.

Now I just need a reason to give someone a tower of cookies.

me! me, Me, ME! I have had a broken hand for 4 weeks; I think that is a great excuse for a tower of cookies…

Amy, what that hand needs is a TOWER OF COOKIES.

Ohh those are really nice looking! In one of Martha’s cookie special magazines she had different ideas for how to package up cookies to give as gifts. I haven’t used any of those ideas yet but I hope to!

I’m really happy crafting and baking are coming together. For a long time, it was hard to find cute packaging. Tins, which are okay, are practical, but they are bulky. These really are nice and the more I think about it, the more of a bargain they seem.

I love these! I’m not crafty so I like when someone does the work for me. However, a lot of the cookies I give away are mailed so I’m not sure how practical these would be for that. The tins, which I can never seem to find when I need them, tend to be my best best for shipping.

Those are cute. I’ve been collecting cute bags, boxes but I too need a reason to use them. Btw, I’m catering a lunch tomorrow and I’m going to use your ccc recipe from recipegullet. The one w/vanilla pudding. They were talking about it on the Choc. chip cookie cookoff!!

Back to the subject of Vegas -

I went to this message board to gather info before planning http://www.travel2vegas.com/messageboard.html.

I used Priceline (how-to explained on message board). We got a room at the Venitian for a little over $100 per night!! We offered a little money to upgrade and got a room way up – I think 32nd floor for $135 per night if I remember correctly. The room was big and included a living room area. Very fancy. http://www.venetian.com/

You may know, at the Venetian they have a whole floor that is supposed to be like Venice – complete with flowing water canals and gonola rides. Oh, the shopping!! I may not be able to afford Jimmy Choo’s but at least I got to touch them lol.

The buffet at Bellagio was so good. Worth every penny of the $20 or so apiece for lunch.

Anna, oh, Anna. Missed a post yesterday. Wondering if the kids stickered you up so well you couldn’t get free.

Leave it to Mahtha to produce the cute cookie packaging.

I’m sure you won’t have a lick of trouble unloading a tower!
