I’m on the fence about whether I should post today’s recipe — a lemon pound cake made with cream cheese. The recipe is from a very old and not-so-reliable source and pan size, cook-time….everything in the original recipe seemed to be wrong. The catch is, after I’d made some adjustments, the end result was one of the best pound cakes I’ve ever made. I’m just not sure I can replicate it because I did everything so quickly and haphazardly.
I’ll report back when I get around to trying to duplicate the cake. It won’t be today, because I’m heading to the doctor to (maybe) get my finger stitched up. I cut it with a Chef’s knife. It happened a few days ago and I tended to it myself, but now it looks like it needs some professional care. I’m just not sure at this point.
