Fuzz and I spent all morning at the doctor’s office waiting to get a strep test. The kid next door has it, and since my throat’s been hurting for a week I was convinced I had it too. The test came back negative. Now I just have to keep a close eye on Fuzz — who spent 80% of yesterday with her sick little friend, who by the way, did not show any symptoms.
So today I’m getting my afternoon cookie fix from elves. I picked these up on impulse at the grocery store earlier this week. They’re harder than most sandwich cookies and perfect for dunking in hot coffee. Oh, and they taste like cheesecake! A sandwich cookie that tastes like cheesecake. Now why didn’t they think of this sooner? Oh, and I had no idea Keebler was owned by Kellogg’s. When did that happen, or has that always been? Or maybe I knew it but forgot it, because that’s been happening a lot lately too. I feel really out of touch.
