If you don’t have room in the pantry or just don’t feel like buying a whole bag of self-rising flour, here’s the formula for making it yourself.
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
Sift ingredients together and use in place of 1 cup self-rising flour
1 C All Purpose Flour minus 2 Tablespoons **plus**
2 Tablespoons of Cornstarch
Equals 1 cup cake flour
