Todd loved yesterday’s creamy lemon triangles, but in my opinion, they were kind of chalky and I could taste the egg yolks. I’ll be curious to see what other people who’ve made these think. For those who haven’t, if you like the idea of yesterday’s creamy lemon squares, but are put off by condensed milk or absolutely sure you won’t like the texture, you might want to try lemon butter crunch bars from Cooking Light. Along with being slightly more wholesome, they don’t have the chalkiness that the previous lemon bars have.
You can make the lemon butter crunch bars with lemon or lime and cut them into triangles instead of bars. Last year, I did a lime version and they were great.
Here’s an old photo I dug up. Again, I used CL’s lemon bar recipe, substituted lime juice, and cut the squares into triangles

Looks good!
They do look really good. I’m still stuck on the blueberry lemon cream bars… though, those are my favorite!
I remember these! I think we made them a long time ago and loved the brown sugar in the crust.
