You could make some Grape-Nut Applesauce Cookies.

Also, here’s a joke for you.

Did you see the link to oatmeal cookie recipes at the bottom right of the grape nut cookie page? The Oatmeal Cookies with Brown-Butter Icing sound good. Or maybe I’m just in the mood for something sweet. :-)

Louise, I saw that one! It’s very similar to one of my old ones and Paula’s Loaded. I need to try that one.

Wow. Baltimore Sun has a great collection of cookie recipes. This link should take you to the beginning. I see lots of things I want to make right now.

It is, except she spices them a lot more. I’d be tempted to use chai spices.

I have Grape Nuts! Love a tablespoon or so sprinkled on my oatmeal every morning. Crunch, crunch.
When I was growing up, we didn’t get all the fun, expensive sugary cereals much, so every year at Christmas we’d get a box wrapped of our favorite cereal. When I was in my teens, I had told my parents that I like Grape Nuts cereal, I must have got that wrapped, under the tree for the next 5+ years or so. I finally had to tell them I was sick of Grape Nuts! Hi Mom and Dad! –they love reading your blog, Anna!

I’m totally going to try these cookies! My boyfriend buys grapenuts, and personally, I can’t stand them as a cereal, buuuut, they do have the perfect texture and heft for a nice cookie. Can’t wait to surprise him with these!
