Update to Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes

Yesterday’s cupcakes were a test batch, but today I’m making the real thing — and maybe with a different frosting. Cupcakes are a great excuse to test out different frostings, though the previous one was quite good.

One thing I wanted to tell you was the yield is actually 18 cupcakes rather than 12. I didn’t bake them all at once yesterday, but this morning I did and it’s 18.

Another thing I learned was that the batter doesn’t have to be baked all at once. I got interrupted yesterday and had to bake some of the cupcakes in the morning and the rest 4 hours later. The batter that sat in the bowl for 4 hours baked up just fine.

I’ll get back to you later with more recipes. I have to go to the dentist this morning. Argh.
