Over the years translation has lost much, but after interviewing my mother and watching her bake, I realize the tea is the special part of the cookie, how you prepare it. This has never been translated into english and was lost in the process. Thankfully my mother still used this and remarked - oh well, no one ever asked me about the tea. There is no replacement for watching the procedure done - from there you can add your own special tweeks -I make mine sugar free - yep - you heard me right.
