Hello from Hershey, PA!
This week I’m visiting with the folks behind www.hersheyscookies.com, a section of Hershey’s website where baking enthusiasts can submit favorite recipes, photos, and tips and read the blog from Linda Stahl, a baking expert in the Hershey’s Kitchen. I’ll be posting updates from Hershey this week, but I wanted to kick off the trip with a giveaway.
For a chance to win a box full of goodies from Hershey (I don’t want to tell you what’s in it because why spoil the surprise?), there’s only one thing you have to do. Leave me a comment telling me one of two things a) if you’ve ever been to Hershey, PA and what your favorite part of the trip was OR b) your favorite holiday cookie.
Also,(and you can win the basket without doing this, but I thought I’d throw it out there), why not “Like” Hershey’s Kisses on Facebook and keep up with the latest promotions?
Good luck! The deadline for this one is Thursday, December 9 at midnight and the winner, as always, will be chosen at random. Also, it’s limited to the USA.

Yes! I’ve been to Hershey, most recently in June of 2009 when my husband traveled up there to watch the Hershey Bears win Game 3 of the American Hockey League championship. That was my favorite part of that trip, but we also visited Chocolate World and did the chocolate tasting adventure. That was great too!
I’ve never been to Hershey PA, but my favorite Christmas cookie every year is a Chocolate-Marshmallow cookie. It’s a basic cookie base with half a marshmallow pressed into it, and then frosted with chocolate frosting.

This is the only time of year our family makes them.
I have never been to Hershey PA but my favorite holiday cookie would have to be buckeyes. Don’t know if that really counts as a cookie or if it is even related to the holidays but a friend always makes them this time of year
