Chocolate Butterfinger Pie Part 2
The chocolate butterfinger pie went over well. My dad took his for the road, so I didn’t get a report, but Todd liked it.
I was curious to see how the popular tofu/chocolate combo would work since I’d read so many good reviews. The top part was just an afterthought because it seemed to be the tofu/chocolate layer alone was a bit too shallow.
My friend Camilla mentioned she made this pie with peanut butter mixed in with the tofu/chocolate portion. Another idea I had was to do a peanut butter cream pie (similar to the Butterfinger) on top. Heck, you could do just about any cream pie on top since there is so much extra room – butterscotch, coconut.
The next time I make this, I’ll probably stick with the wholesome theme and use a vegan crust, vegan chocolate, and some sort of vegan cream topping.
