Bundt Cake Winners Are In!
Check out all the bundt cake winners! I am kind of bummed that the Texas winner, whom I do not know, did not make the top ten. A peach cake with pecan streusel sounds brilliant, though. I’ll save that one for summer. High on the “to-try” list is the one submitted by Elizabeth Bennett. She’s from Washington, so a latte flavored cake was the perfect choice. Of course, I don’t think I ever would have thought to glaze a cake with biscotti. Very clever.
Not much baking going on around here. Hopefully, things will settle down and I’ll get back in action.

Thanks for posting this they have some great looking recipes.
love the site! The Washington cake looks great! I really want to try Florida’s key lime and coconut, but the recipe calls for smucker’s magic shell and it doesnt state which flavor… hmm. Do you think chocolate or caramel would be a better choice?
Kelly
Peabody, let me know if you try any.
Kelly, that key lime cake does sound very interesting. I wonder how the coconut milk tastes. Also, I wonder if you could sub Coco Lopez (Cream of Coconut) for coconut milk for a sweeter, richer coconut flavor. As for Magic Shell, I guess you can use any flavor. I’d want to use a White Chocolate magic shell, but I don’t think they make that. I would probably just make my own glaze rather than go with the Magic Shell.
Thanks for posting that; I’ll be sure to check those recipes out.
Am I the only one who can’t understand the directions for the Arkansas winner? Where exactly does the crust come in??? Directions are confusing…
Heidi, you are right. It appears that they left out the directions on how to prepare the crust. I guess you bake the cheesecake as directed, then mix all the crust ingredients and press them into a (round?) pan, then invert the flower shaped cheesecake onto the crust-lined pan.
