I don’t usually post cookie recipes without testing them, but this recipe was created by my friend Val, which means it’s good. I plan on making these soon, but I’m taking a cookie break today so they’ll have to wait.
Here’s the recipe. Val says that the blueberry butterscotch combination is delicious. If you make these before I do, please send me a picture!
Val’s Blueberry-Butterscotch Bars
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 cups blueberries — (Val used frozen)
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
2 tbsp brown sugar
Mix flour salt, baking soda, butter and sugar. Fold in blueberries. Press gently but firmly into pan. Mix butterscotch chips with brown sugar and spread over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes in a greased 9×13 pan.
