Pigs in a Blanket

Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 24 count cocktail sausages or mini hot dogs (12 oz)
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds or poppy seeds optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Cut each triangle lengthwise into 3 narrow strips.
  • Wrap one strip of dough around each sausage, starting at one end and spiraling to the other. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  • Brush tops lightly with beaten egg and sprinkle with seeds, if using.
  • Bake for 10–14 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  • Serve warm with dipping sauces.
