Lisa Yockelson’s Chocolate Chip Coconut Cookies is an old recipe from Food and Wine. As expected, they were very good. They were thin, chewy, and less sweet than most chocolate chip cookies. I did make one minor change. Instead of using plain chocolate chips, I used a bag of Hersheys Premier Dark Chocolate Chips with Macadamias.

dallas got a Nobu in 2005 and their version of a choc lava cake has a wasabi component. i kinda forget but i think it might be wasabi ice cream. i liked it too. i guess the combo just doesn’t play out in cookies…
