Happy New Year!
Let’s hope this is a good one. Did anyone make resolutions? Because if you had and you’d been in downtown Austin last night, you could have written them on a piece of paper, stuck them to a clock and watched them burn. I never go to celebrations like that, but I like that they’re there.
I just realized whatever I make today is going to be the first recipe of the year. Guess it had better be good!

Happy New Year, y’all! Main goal this year is to send more cookie care packages to kiddos I know who are away at college or working far away. Seems to be more of them every year!
Also, remembering to send birthday cards to family and friends…within a week of their birthdays. 
I think my goal this year is to post more pictures on Cookie Madness. I don’t mean step-by-step photos of me dumping flour into the creamed mixture etc., but more pictures of Austin, friends, family, things.
