White Chocolate Dipped Pumpkin Spice Creme Oreos

There's been some backlash towards pumpkin spice this week, but do yourself a favorite and don't let the negativity put you off the new limited edition Pumpkin Spice Creme Oreos. They're really good! Having been burned by some of the other flavors (Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Oreos, I'm looking at you), the Pumpkin Spice Oreos were a pleasant surprise.

So thanks to Todd for tracking them down. He said he wasn't obsessed, but he's mentioned at least 4 stores where he "just happened to stop in and look" so I think there was some sort of quest going on, and it ended last night at Target.

If you find Pumpkin Spice Cream Oreos, let me know what you think. I'd planned on breaking them up and using them as an ingredient in other cookies, but they're pretty good straight or better yet, dipped in white chocolate. If you go the dipping route, you'll need about ½ oz of white chocolate for each cookie.

    I think everything hit the fan when Saturday Night Live did a spoof on it. Just Google Saturday Night Live pumpkin spice and you'll see what I mean.

    I have got to get my hands on some of these! I had not heard about the Pumpkin Spice Backlash of 2014. What's that about? Are people saying Pumpkin Spice is too "over done" or something?

    In Denver area, found these at Target, along with 'caramel apple' flavored ones.

    Linda, thanks for the tip! So now we know they are at Randall's, Kroger and Target. Honestly, after eating them dipped in white chocolate I think that I prefer them plain. They are pretty sweet with the white chocolate.

    I found them at Kroger. I not a big chocolate fan so they are just my cup of tea. In fact, that's how I like them--with a cup of tea or chai.

    We JUST saw these today at Randall's - and wasn't sure what to think of them! There is quite an Oreo obsession in this house, so I'll pick them up on my next shopping trip.
