Dinner Rolls and Focaccia Archive includes recipes for dinner rolls, brioche, focaccia and other breads commonly served before or with the meal. This is another category I need to expand, but right now it's small enough to where can point you to some favorites.
The recipes I make most often are the Fluffy Dinner Rolls and the Lunch Lady Rolls, the latter of which has good reviews from other bakers. No hate mail. Yay!
A fun recipe that I don't make often enough is Focaccia Muffins. These were inspired by some colorful focaccia rolls we saw at Mariano's in Chicago. They have one good review, but it's from an Italian family so it equals 10.
And speaking of focaccia, the recipe I use most of all is an old one from gourmet called Rosemary Focaccia. It's baked in a 9 inch square pan, so it's a relatively small (but not too small!) batch.
