It started as a cookie blog, but evolved into a baking blog with recipes for brownies, cakes, pies, ice cream, cupcakes, bread and a savory dish or two. Holidays Ahead!
Buckle up, kids! It's the most wonderful time of the year. Time to crank up the oven, lose track of how much butter you've purchased, splurge on the vanilla paste, and fully embrace the concept of baking therapy. Hopefully you've already started, but just in case (for motivation!) here are a few of my favorite holiday treats. I'm looking forward to taking new photos of some of these.

Cookie Exchange
Sometimes the most interesting recipes get lost in the shuffle. Here are some old favorites. I added Martha's Kitchen Sink Cookies because she made me laugh this week with an Instagram post about how her daughter eats bagels. Club Cracker Bars are still there. The Clodhoppers Clones are easy. The new Brown Butter Potato Chip Pretzel Cookies with Miss Vickie's are good, as are Travis House Cookies. Sweet Salty Frito Candy is trash, but in the best possible way. Added Apricot Bars this weekend for those of you with almond paste to burn. And don't sleep on Chocolate Haystacks, either.
