Win a Dozen Free Gourmet Mail Order Cookies!

by on January 15, 2010 · 9 comments

My friends at Alexandra’s Cookie Dreams are ready for Valentine’s Day and to celebrate, they’re holding a contest!

For your chance to win a dozen gourmet cookies, come up with a Valentine’s themed cookie flavor (or as Alexandra says, a cookie of love) and post your idea in the comment section of the Alexandra’s Cookie Dreams website or on Alexandra’s Cookie Dreams Facebook page.

Don’t forget to name your creation, because if your idea is picked your cookie will be Alexandra’s next limited edition flavor featured this February!

Enter quickly. The deadline is January 17th.

For inspiration, here’s a photo of last year’s love cookie.

“Heart-Pumping Cherry Chocolate: Sweet dried cherries cuddle up with hand cut chunks of Ghiardelli semi-sweet chocolate in a rich, seductive chocolate hug that’s sure to make love taste sweeter.”

As always, 3% of all profits go to Donorschoose.org to support public school education in Austin and New York City.

Cookie name – “I’m mint to be with you”
Cookie – a tender mint-flavored sour cream cookie filled with mini chocolate chips and frosted with pink frosting covered with tiny chips of peppermint candy.

Dotted with Love – Homemade sugar cookie, rolled in turbinado sugar, speckled with cinnamon red hots over the top. Perfect sweet, spice, and crunch!

Those are great! I’m forwarding them to Alexandra. But make sure you post the comment on her site or Facebook :). Comments that accidentally get posted here will be forwarded. Oh, and if you want to post it in both places, that’s fine too.

Posted on her website! Sweet and Spicy Love–Brown sugar dough laced with a touch of molasses, spiced with ginger, cinnamon, and a touch of cayenne, and studded with chunks of dark and white chocolate. I might have to create some of these myself. LOL :)
